I made a custom Facebook tab for a client yesterday. Got it designed, uploaded, app created. Last thing to do: add it to the Facebook page. But the “Add to My Page” link was nowhere to be found. How do you add the tab to a page without that link?

Luckily, I found AddPageTab.com. It’s a super simple website. All you have to do is enter your app’s ID — found in the app summary in your developer area — into the site and you’ll get a drop-down dialog to choose what page your tab should be installed to.

Alternately, you can enter this URL into your browser (with your app ID, of course):

https://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=APPIDHERE&next=http://facebook.com

Hopefully Facebook will fix this problem soon, so this method won’t be necessary.
