Twitter’s most entertaining

I follow more than 100 people on Twitter. Some are friends, some are celebrities, some are businesses and some defy description (I’m looking at you, S*** My Dad Says). While I enjoy reading all their tweets, there is a handful of accounts that are always entertaining, an that I really look forward to reading. There are several celebrities on the list, but they’re not all famous folks.
Best speeches from the 2009 Webby awards

Okay so this is massively outdated. The Webby Awards, which recognize online excellence, were held in early June. Here’s a listing of this year’s winners. What’s great about the Webbys is that everyone is limited to five words in their acceptance speeches. No exceptions. Here are some of my favorites from this year’s event.
Corrections and regrets
The Stranger, an alternative paper from Seattle, recently ran a list of its corrections/regrets for 2008. Among my favorites: Dan Savage, the editorial director of The Stranger, does not regret a single word he wrote in the wake of Proposition 8. He does regret the dismal state of reading comprehension today, as evidenced by the confused reaction to some of what he wrote. Mr. Savage would like to state for the record: “Your inability to read isn’t evidence that I’m racist.”
Tina Fey/Amy Poehler brilliant on SNL

Check out this hilarious sketch from the season premiere of Saturday night live. Now, I loves me some Tina Fey – and her Sarah Palin is definitely the better impression — but it’s Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton that really makes me giggle here. Well, at least until “Palin” starts posing. Probably the best bit of the whole thing. And isn’t it just amazing how much like Sarah Palin Tina Fey looks?
