Fans have been waiting for this last installment for 10 years. And it’s been 14 years since the first book was released. During that time, artistic Harry Potter fans have been creating their own fan art based on the novels and movies. I was browsing DeviantArt the other day looking for Harry Potter wallpaper, and I came across so many great pieces of art that I thought I’d share some of my favorites here. I watched “Hogfather” for the first time this weekend, and I forgot how much I love Death. I can’t think of another Discworld character I like better – though I love the City Watch. Guess I need to go get ‘Guards! Guards!‘ – I’m still making my way through the older books (I read several of the newer ones then started over at the beginning).

Anyway, I really enjoyed Death’s reaction to the socio-economic rules of holiday gifts – I’ve always wondered how poor kids feel when they hear their well-off classmates talk about the bikes and video game systems Santa leaves.
